Luis Paulo Ribeiro has been a landscape theory, planning, and design lecturer at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia since 1999. He was a teaching member in the Landscape Architecture Department from 2009 to 2013, and he currently oversees the Masters and PdH programs. He is one of the co-founders of Professor Caldeira Cabral's Research Center for Landscape Architecture. He is also an active professional with Topiaris, a Lisbon-based landscape architectural firm that has won numerous awards. With more than 30 years of experience, Topiaris has worked on a wide range of projects at different scales of intervention, from landscape planning to the design of urban parks, public spaces, and historical site restoration to modern architecture for institutional spaces, tourism destinations, and private gardens. He will show us some of his most well known works and explain his vision, aesthetic and methodology.
