Distance Learning
Undergraduate and Graduate Studies
At the Agricultural University of Iceland we offer distance learning program for most courses with the exception of landscape architecture. The courses are available as recordings for our distance learning students. Students that study from a distance are required to attent one week on location every third and sixth week each semester for hands on courses and field trips.
Registration fee is 75,000 ISK per academic year. Exam fee (6000 ISK) will be collected at the beginning of each course.

Vocational Training in Agriculture
The program for Vocational Training in Agriculture offers a possibility for distance learning. Applicants have to be at least 25 years of age and have some experience and practicing in the field. Applicants should include all information of previous studies and practical experience. Each applicant will be interviewed before being accepted.
Registration fee for the academic year is 50.000 ISK + 2000 ISK for each fein.
